Beschreibung

Die solitär auf einer Wiese stehende Eiche war zum Zeitpunkt der Unterschutzstellung (1951) etwa 130 Jahre alt.

Legende, Geschichte, Sage

Die Stiel-Eiche ist auch unter der Bezeichnung Sommereiche oder Deutsche Eiche bekannt. Sie kann bis zu 40 m Höhe und einen Stammumfang von bis zu drei Metern, im Freistand bis zu 8 Metern, erreichen. Ihr Höchstalter liegt bei 500 bis 1000 Jahren; in Ausnahmefällen kann sie noch älter werden.
